"You could always go live with your dad"
Those were the words to the rest of my life. That morning as my mother and i picked up camp, we could not stop arguing. After telling her i could not stand her rules she said something to me that would change my life forever. "You could go live with your dad"
The Summer of 2005 I was finally a teen. After what my mom said i moved to my dads house. At first i was testing the waters. My mom thought i would hate it and want to come back home, Little did she know that i would have a blast and never come back. After a 900mi car ride from Oregon I arrived at my dads house in a very small town called Templeton. I started to have lots of fun hanging out with my big brother and learning some ropes with my dad finally. I learned a lot in those three months, Cali is great, people are different, back seat's of police cars are not fun, and that i wanted to stay living with my dad. Oh and the cop car ride...well its lucky Templeton is small because the cop knew my dad and turned me over to him, haha tho my mom never found out about that.
I traveled back to OR to say my goodbye and to pack up my things.
